The Mallards I see here at the parks in Dallas have no desire to fly...they're too busy eating all the food that people bring them!I love that female in the 2cnd picture! Maybe you were there as well.I was surprise by the number of banded mallards, I was 2 mallards with federal bands and one with a green plastic band.
