Need new crappie tackle.

I was out fishing last night and my girlfriend was setting her rod up and next thing I know I here crash, tackle box upside down on the ice. Probably lost about half of my jigs. She feels terrible, I have tried to explain that it not a big deal, tried to explain the law of Ice fishing, if you drop something it WILL go down the whole. Needless to say she insists on buying me some new tackle. Any suggestions for good crappie jigs?

My go to for crappie are the 1/16 oz Go Devil By Scenic Tackle, a close second and my number one bobber rod lure for crappie is the Demon by Custom Jigs and Spinns. I'm sure Matt Johnson or Crappie Tom will give you some wonderfull advice as well.. Have fun getting some new lures

Drop down into the crappie forum and read some....lots of info on tackle with maybe a bit more specif direction there.

Deitz has offered up some solid stuff here though. Custom's Jigging Demon in size 6 is a dandy when you need to scale down from the Go Devil. Still a very aggressive bait though.

The "Heartbeat Hula" thread in the crappie forum will give you some very pointed suggestions.

Great advice CT, in the panfish forum you will find a lot of information you would miss in the ice fishing forum. I know there are a lot of articles and the such on fishing different lures. I know, that if I lost my panfish boxes it would cost thousands of dollars to replace it all... Another of my fave crappie lures is a #6 Marmooska. Love them things if I need to size down.

Custom Jigs and Spins also have a new bait coming out that is very close to the Marmooska. I believe they are called Diamond jigs. They also offer the Ratso, Shrimpo and Rat-finke that I use on a regular basis.

I got lucky, her dad took her fishjing when she was younger so it laid the ground work. He was telling me how he'd sit in the house with four kids and non stop pulling sunnies off.

She also has 2 older sisters that fish as well.
