This was a printed promotion given out by the Jim Beam folks in the late 50s or early 60s and is one of the treasures I salvaged from my late father's woodworking shop. Still hangs in my garage and I smile whenever I look at it and think about how how many times I've been on one side or the other of a very similar conversation:

---

When Fishermen Meet

"Hiyamac"

"Lobuddy"

"Binearlong?"

"Coplours"

"Cetchanenny?"

"Goddafew"

"Kindarthay?"

"Bassencarp"

"Ennysizetoom?"

"Cuplapowns"

"Hittinhard?"

"Sordalike"

"Wahchoozin?"

"Gobbawurms"

"Fishanonaboddum?"

"Rydononaboddum"

"Whatchadrinkin?"

"Jugajimbeam"

"Igoddago"

"Tubad"

"Seeyaroun"

"Yeahtakideezy"

"Guluk."

COMPLIMENTS OF:

"THE JAMES B. BEAM DISTILLING CO."

---

I remember studying it from the first years I could read, and for the longest time I was amused by the very last line because I had always interpreted the last "Guluk" not as "Good Luck" but as a swallowing sound being made by this "friend" who had stopped by to chat and then made off with his buddy's jug of Jim Beam.
