Maximum12
I've called several shops who won't work on something as old as a 1967 Johnson. I've never had a problem with it I couldn't fix, & it runs perfectly (well, until now), so I want to keep it. Anyone know of somebody who works on engines this old? 0 1DIRTBALL
Twin Cities Outboard work on any age motor and I think they are in Shakopee right outside Mpls. Do a search on Google to find their HSOforum. What exactly is wrong with your motor?------------------YOU CAN'T talk AN OLD talk'ER!
0 Maximum12
I thought it was a little strange too, but I encountered the same thing with my old 1973 Yamaha motorcycle - nobody would touch it except an "old bike specialist".Thanks for the suggestions - I'll try the Shakopee shop first, I work in Richfield so they're relatively close. 0 IFallsRon
Anyone who won't work on an older motor must not want to work.Bruce's Outboard in Sauk Rapids (320-253-9273) can and will fix about anything. His place looked like a Johnson museum one time I was there.
