A guy at work may be willing to sell his double-axel trailer for $75. I'd like to use it to build an 8x14 permanent ice house. The trailer is 14' long and has only 2 wheels. It's only the frame, no plywood left. What do I need to look for to make sure it's what I need for my project? I'm planning to build with 2x3's or 2x4's and don't need to jig out of it. More of a portable camp with a bar, kitchen stove, and sleeping loft for the kids. Anyone with ice house experience out there?
