Lowrance iFinder screen seems very dark

Hey all,

I have a new Lowrance iFinder H20c and the display seems very dark to me. I have it set for max contrast and max brightness and I can hardly see it under the lights in the house. I have to turn on the backlight on the finder to read the display. Is everyone else experiencing this or do I have a bad display readout? I like everything about it other than the display is too hard too read without always having to turn the backlight on. Thanks.

I had to "tweek" my contrast and brightness to see it in the house without the backlight. It does seem as little dark no matter how you set it.

If the backlight isn't on, I can't see the screen data. With the backlight on the batteries go down very fast... so I don't think it's just your unit.
