Console for 1999 Lund 1900 Pro V?

I am looking seriously at a used 1999 Lund 1900 Pro V SE. Unfortunately, it has only a drivers side console/windshield and I want my wife to be protected from the wind and rain when I am driving the boat. Is it possible to order or find a console that can be installed on the passenger side from Lund or from another source?

Are there aftermarket products that can be installed to protect the passenger?

On some boats you can add a second console. I've seen more dual console 1900 series boats than single consoles. Contact Lund directly with your questions and I'm sure you can purchase one. Should be relatively easy to install. The rod/storage locker set-up is the main concern, but it should work.

It's going to be tough to find a console for it, and there's nothing "generic" on the market (which I feel would decrease value of boat since it will not match other side).

You should contact Lund, but beware it will not be cheap.

Console walls are just aluminum with carpet, but the console top, windshields, glove compartment, etc are very expensive to buy.

You might want to consider another boat with already dual console or a full windshield.

Contact Lund directly. They have excellent cutstomer service. They should be able to hook you up with a console The only problem might be that they have redesigned consoles for the Pro V since 1999, so it may not match. Dual console is an option, and many come from the factory to dealers as single console boats, if they are not pre-sold ordered boats. That allows the dealer to sell to either a dual or single console buyer and the dealer will order and install the port console if the buyer wants to. I have installed a port console on one of my Pro Staff boats for the buyer. It is not hard at all. But once it is in, its in. You have to drill holes in the top of the gunwale. You should expect to pay about $700 to $800 for it from Lund complete with windshield.

Since my post, I found out from a local Lund dealer that they can get a port console from Lund for me and install it.

I bought the boat and brought it home on Saturday. Now it's perfect for us.
