Marcum 350 vs Aqua Vu Scout

I would like to hear the positves of each camera by people who haved used them? Looking at buying one of the cameras. I know of aqua vu reputation. Looking at what you get from the marcum, it sounds like a good deal(larger screen, larger amp battery) Want to hear what people think .

I too am interested in hearing what other think about this topic. I just purchased the Marcum 350 because of the things you mentioned as well as a longer cable (65' vs 50') and I also liked the case it came with. On the other hand, I am not entirely comfortable with the customer service. I called to ask about down-viewing and the guy really wasn't sure if it could be rigged for this. He basically said "get creative with it"...anyway I will post my thoughts after I get a chance to use it, ice permitting.

I'm very happy with the 350 the bigger screen is a plus and being able to dim the lights is also a great feature. have used it quite a bit and so far no complaints

I have already been through 2 Aqua View Scouts. The first one I got last year, used it twice, and then it wouldn't power up after that. The 2nd one I used once and the camera filled up with water and fritzed out on me. So now I am having the same debate.

Suick, have you tried to figure out a way to downview with the 350?
