I made the first trip of the season out here last thurs. I fished for about 2.5 hours and caught around a dozen fish or so. Only 2 were over the 14" mark that I could keep. Looks like there will be plenty of fish to sort through this year though. I here others are doing fair as well. I fished 15 fow and had my best luck on a red mirrored jigging rap. The deadsticks worked pretty good as well. I will be out after the new year fairly often so stay tune for reports. Later and good fishing

Fished one of my other spots tonight it was slow to say the least. I hit one fish right after getting set up. Sweet I thought it is going to be a good night. Well I might as well have packed up because that was it tonight. Nothing in the bag of tricks was working. Oh well can't get them every night. Tomorrow night the big house is heading out.
