Vibrating Rods?

Just wondering if anyone has tried and had any success with some of those vibrating jig rods. Saw a few at cabelas and wal mart and thought they were neat but don't quite know what to think about them yet. I have heard from the sales guy that you can put down a plain jig head and with the vibrator you'll catch fish. Think that might just be a sales ploy but am looking for REAL experience with them. That's when I turn to you guys- lemme know!

I dont know about catching fish on a plain jig head but under certain conditions fish will bite better on a buzz stick than other methods. I used one all last winter and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked at times. Sometimes fish are aggressive and it doesnt matter what you are using but when they are in the right mood nothing seems to out fish it.

I have 2 buzz sticks. I cant afford a throne's rod yet so I have to keep the buzz. They work ok for what they are. watching the fish on the camera the pan fish sure like the little jiggle it gives your bait. (camera is the best part) As for walleyes I have found no difference. I got mine at the end of a season for around $12.00 or so. I wouldn't spend a ton for them but they can catch fish.

(best with fresh batteries)

I hope this is of some help
