0 bobO Posted December 25, 2005 Share Posted December 25, 2005 25-30 lbs. braided tips line works good and then use a steal leader if fishing for noterherns or some 10 lbs. monophiloment for a leader if your going after walleyes. good luck. Then I make up all my leaders, about 4 ft of 8 lb fluro for everything but pike which is 50 lb fluro..
