first i would like to say great forum, fished shabbana lake caught alot of small bluegills and a couple small crappie, got to use my lx-3 for the first time what a machine really liked the zoom , it was a fun day . there is about 7 inchs . im going to mcelsons landing saturday i will post what i caught and how much ice ,

Hi catman. Nice to have good ice for a change!

Went to our cabin on Lake Marie in Antioch to get something and there were tons of guys out on Marie. All the usual places with current are still open, as would be expected. Also see evidence of people riding off the ice and into the water to try their hand at skipping over etc. NO WAY I would recommend that!

my brother and i went to nickelson saturday there is 8 inchs of ice ,we caught alot of small bluegills a couple of perch , we had a good day.
