I got a good quote on one of these last year from a small bait and tackle shop, better than retail, but they were sold out and couldn't get any more. I called them again this year and they can't get any again. Anyone have any ideas or good deals? I saw them at Fleetfarm but pretty much retail priced. I guess I'll be paying that but would like to just do a one stop shop. I live in the NW metro suburbs. Thanks

From what I understand people were having problems with the camera unit fogging up last year. Aparantly a problem with the seal like what was happening with the Aqua-Vu Quad 360 last year. I think the OVS 460 is $499 (I could be off by 100 dollars). Marcum seems to be slow shipping to stores this year, both flashers and cameras, but most cameras should be in everywhere in the next week or so. The nice advantage with this particular Marcum camera is that the camera unit can be adjusted by button to search the full 360 degree area as opposed to having to twist the cord to move the camera unit as is the case with Aqua-Vu.

anyone else hear about this fogging issue? I have a friend that has one and he hasn't expressed any problems with his. In fact he sold me on the unit. Why can't Marcum get the units out? They were sold out last year and knew there was a huge demand for them. You would think they would be better prepared but the places I have talked to said they haven't been shipped yet.

I have talked to many sources that have said that the cameras are on a truck. I have been told that since thursday the 22nd. Personally I am waiting on a 560 and sure hope they get them in soon. I did talk to one person that said they wouldnt be seeing any cameras this year. But like I said I have only heard that from one person, but i have heard from about 5 that said they are on the way. Cross your fingers. Let me know if there are any in local stores...i will post when i get mine!

That's good news!

I bought a 460 last winter and had to send it in to get fixed last October. It needed a new camera so I had to wait until they got some made. I've had the misfortune of using a buddies aqua-vu zt and with that experience fell deeper in love with the Marcum. Yes a 560 would have been better but like the fl8-se I had to start somewhere.
