Had a simlar problem last year - found out that a locksmith uses a straight wire that has a groove spiraling down it. He simply twisted it into the deep groove of the broken off key tip then hooked a vise grip onto it and jerked it out. I thought to myself at the time that simply straightening a grooved paper clip and using it would work the same - worth a try anyway. grin.gif

working at lumber yard that has locks and such, our hardware guy said a small wire with a dab of JB Weld on it works too. Wait for the JB Weld to set up pull right out.

However....outside in the cold might be hard to work with.
