Clam Rivere Flowage or Devil's Lake (WI)

Does anybody have any info dealing with either of these lakes????

I am already planning a trip in early May to these 2 bodies of water in Wisconsin, and I have never been on either one. I know The Clam Flowage has more of a Smallie population, but that is about it. On Devil's I know they have a good population of Largies, but not a lot of size.

If anyone has any tips or pointers for either of these lake, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Clam is known for its smallies, and its largies. And has been known to let a few lunkers out of it. It can be tough to fish at time however. Caroilina rigs and jig and pig are popular ways to catch fish out there. A spinnerbait should work too.. If fishing in may, stay shallow and find the warm water.

Devils is a fairly clear lake, and I would say that most fish relate to the weedlines. A TON of small fish. Last summer I saw the coolest thing ont this lake. There was a school of very small bass (6-8inches in length, like I said small) but they had a school of minnow pegged against the surface of the water.. there were probably 20 some bass and it was just a feeding frenzy.. maybe lasted about 3 mins and it was over.
