get-the-net
Our family has been hunting that area for over 20 years now. We've only gun hunted, but I'm certain that there are lots of opportunities for bowhunters. One place to start looking would be the Long Pines and Chalk Butte areas within the CNF. This is big open country, so your best bet with a bow would be to stick to the forest or possibly along the creek bottoms. There is a lot of adjacent private landowners that would probably let you hunt their land, (they'll most likely think you're crazy for using a bow), but that's just how the locals are there. We've had nothing but great experiences every year.
CAJ
I would check out the Broudas area and south down toward Biddle. I see in the Tourism guide the Biddle has some Ranches that guide hunts and so does Braudas. There is also a taxidermist in Broadas that could give you a lot of info on the area. I was in that area the first of the year, and can not beleive all the Mule Deer alond the highway. 59 from Wyoming border to Mile city MT. Check all the chamber of comrrece people out to.
