Kodiak - I'm not sure if you're looking to buy one of these units, but there's a unit that slots inbetween the lx-2 and the lx-3tc. it's just the regular lx-3 and can be had for $299 locally.

i was thinking about looking into them, cause i sold my vex to get a lowrance ice machine, and it doesnt play well with others on the ice, too much interference.
