Float coats?

Hey I'm thinking of buying a floatcoat for my brother for Christmas. I found what looks to be a very decent one from landfallnavigation.com. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with these type of coats? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a Stearns float coat and it's very stiff and bulky in cold weather. It's a good coat otherwise. If you're looking at the Mustang float coat, I've heard a lot of good things about it. Hope this helps.

The Mustang coat was the one I was looking at; very reasonably priced. As I fished on thin ice yesterday, I asked myself why I don't wear a float coat. Just makes so much sense. Perhaps I'll buy one for both me and my brother.
