Clam Sleeper

I just bought a clam sleeper, has anyone ever used this shack, do you have a review?

I want to use mine for spending the night on the ice.

has anyone ever done this. what kind of heater should I use to keep from killing myself?

Check out the Mister Heater Big Buddy. It can put out enough heat to heat the Sleeper and has a battery operated fan to move the heat around. The best feature is it has a low oxygen sensor that will shut it down if the oxygen level gets too low. You can purchase a splitter and two hoses to operate the heater from a larger LP tank which is nice. It helps to get the tank outside of the shelter too.

My dad and I had the sleeper when it was out the first time. It was a monster to load and unload but man was it fun to get a bunch of guys together and play cards and stuff when tip up fishing. We used a mr heater cooker to heat it and there werent but a couple days that it didnt stay warm.

I have the Clam 6800 and have slept in it before. I used the larger of the two MR heater and it heats the house fine. Just wondering were your gonna attach the license to your house and how you will do it with the new non stick licenses?
