gvg_uwec
What minnow buckets do you guys use that dont spill during transport or have lids that blow awayor feeze shut like the foam ones. Please post some pictures if possible of your on ice set ups, i saw a pic last week of a guy using a tupperware thing for pickles that lifted the minnows out of the water, i think that would be great but only a few minows could be held in it. whats your favorite bait setup? icehousebob
I like to use a plastic insulated 12 pack cooler with a hinged lid. When I'm running and gunning, I buy my bait in the big one and use that to refill my six pack cooler. You can get them cheap at garage sales or Good Will and they last a lot longer than styrofoam buckets.
LMITOUT
I asked the same question last year and here are some answers along with a few pictures to help. Minnow Bucket Options
Northlander
I have a Thermos coolaid cooler with a spicket on the side and a top that always stays on. Its green and I got it at Wally World. About $5. I also have a orange coolaid cooler/jug with a spicket on the top and a twist on cap that works great if Im hauling my Otter with a sled or wheeler. At times it freezes up but I just rap it with my Big Dipper and it opens fine. If Im driving out like on LOW I bring a big 5 gallon insulated pail and keep minnows in it. With the price of shiners I like to keep them in as much good water as I can and this does the trick.
