FL-8 power wiring direct to battery?

Should I connect the power for my FL-8 directly to the main starting battery or to an existing accessery power slot on the fuse panel?
Trying to power it up without any electrical noise!
I will put a fuse in line even from the fuse panel!
Any suggestions?

I would recommend contacting Vex on it. I notice they recommend a Ferrite Core if you are getting noise from the engine. It may be worth a call to see what they recommend.
