christmas cards with a nature theme....

I know it's early but the christmas season's here!.....I figured I'd take a photo(this one taken saturday) with a nature theme and see if I could do something with it!....my first attempt at making a christmas card!(I took a recent photo and made it look like more of an "artist's rendition " then a photo).......maybe the forum users could come up with some neat ones(seen some great photos here!)...give her a try!...jonny

Good post, good topic.

It's a lot of fun, working on those cards. We've been doing them a couple years now. We keep it pretty simple, usually incorporating a nice image with some heart-felt words. It's pretty easy to do in photoshop and some of the other programs, and if you have a decent inkjet printer you can buy some nice paper designed for photos but without the emulsion (I use Epson heavyweight matte). The results look better than Hallmark, and friends and family always appreciate it a bit more, than you took the time to design a card, and that a friend or family member of theirs took the image on the card.
