candles for lighting

I often burn candles in my small portable for light, is there anyone out there that also does this and can recommend any brand of candle that burns along time and throws some good light

I burned candles for awhile, but after I got the headlamp I don't anymore. For the candles, you can use aluminum foil to make a reflector. I just folded a long strip over a few times to get a good thickness, then made it into an L. The candle sat on the horizontal surface of the L, and the back of the L made the reflector, so I got more light where I needed the light. Best candles were the thick round stocky ones my wife liked for that old "romantic mood" deal. She kept wondering where all those candles were getting to.

Now, with the blue headlamp, I just point my head where I need the light.

Are you talking about the blue light for the romantic mood deal or in the fish house?

Oh, sorry, Stick, it's not the KMart blue light special. It's the aurora tech headlight.
