gill man
Hey you're right Jeff(of course)! These are the JB Lures "Angel Eye." It doesn't say anything about "Junior," but I just measured one and it measures a little over 1 1/2 inches. I remember reading an older thread where somebody (probably you) said the Junior measures under 2" and the original measures over 2". Now I'm curious to see how big the originals are, though these certainly look big enough for walleyes. gill man [Note from admin: here is a link to see them - Click Here .]
Raven
Thanks Jeff. I think I was too aggressive. Will try to slow it down. And I do think the JRs are best for all around. Sure am looking forward to looking down that hole again. This is a good forum and there is some good advise in it.
hanson
Here's a little image of the Angel Eye Jr. on the left and the Angel Eye Minnow on the right for size comparison. I would say the Minnow is about twice the size.
gill man
Thanks for the picture. The Minnow looks a lot bigger than the Junior. Good visual.gill man
Scenic
Excellent picture. That picture shows the different sizes. Hanson is correct in saying that the Angel Eye Jr. is half the size of the Angel Eye Minnow. Each have their own places and uses but both work VERY well. The hammered gold Minnow is also works very well for perch on Winnie. A lot of people will not use them because they feel they are to big but we have caught large perch and walleye as well as fish that are not much larger then the spoon itself. Thank you for putting up that picture there Hanson!
