jiffy model 30 recoil help?

I have a older model 30 Jiffy. It runs great, but I notcied when pulling to start it, I think the recoil is making a funny noise, like a bearing is shot or something. Anyone know what could be wrong, Is there a bearing or bushing? It is a easy repair? I have looked at exploded dwgs from Jiffy but dont see one on the starter rope area. I need this auger to last a little longer. I plan on buying a 2hp with Gander X-mas giftcards!! Then I can get rid of the heavy beast! LOL!!!

The best thing to do is take it off and give it a good eyeballin', tighten up that center screw/bolt and lube it up at all the friction points with your favorite light weight spray lube.
