just returned from devils lake

Had a great 3 days of hunting. We saw thousands of mallards and geese. We hunted a bean field the first night and then a corn field the next 2. We set up 3 dozen big foot goose decoys and then set duck decoys throughout the geese. The ducks decoyed very well. The geese however were very tough. We were on the south east side of devils lake. We did not see much flying yesterday after the cold front came through.

was this your first time out there? even if it wasn't iam sure it won't be the last. that place leaves mn looking like a duckhunting ghetto at times. sure is fun
