Frabill amplifier rod

I was at rochester fleet farm and saw they had frabill amplifier rods for 20.00 bucks. They were originally 30.00 bucks. I decided to pick one up for a spare. wondering if anybody has tried them and what do you think.

Nice rods for $20. Sensitive rods but the handles got cold easily. Otherwise if your in a house all the time they are a nice rod for the money you paid.

Very nice rod,sensitive like the name says...bought one new for 30 some bucks,with the new sale going to go pick up a couple more

They have a very nice action to them with a strong backbone for a good hook set. I like them, the only thing I dont like is the handles dent and like Northlander said, they also get cold sitting outside.

Otherwise I really like the rods and for $20 go for it, but there still are better ones out there.

Took out the ice fishing gear today and worked the docks at baypoint park. Used the new rod and i like it. It's not as good as my st. croix but i am happy for 20 bucks. On top of it i caught some fish today.
