Hey guys, I am trying to find a spot to hunt some of these pigs you guys are having problems with and want to know if anyone can point me in the right direction or hook me up with someone who wants them gone. I will be deer hunting this weekend and am off until Friday the 11th so if someone has land open during the week that would work also. I will be in Holyoke so I would like to keep it with in a hour drive if possible.

Cheffrey, what do these things taste like? Are they any good and did you have to have the warden come out and take a blood sample? I would appreciate anyone's help in setting me up for this.

Neiko unfortunately my brother in law is pretty protective of his hunting land otherwise I would throw the offer out for ya. We have the meat into the processor and have yet to have a sampling of the game. I have served it off of a game farm in my restaurant and it was pretty good stuff. They do the blood work at the Processor so that keeps it pretty hands free. Best of luck in your hunts Neiko. Sorry I can't be much help. I can however get you a general area of where you might have luck.

Cheffrey I sent you an email. Thanks for your help. I understand your brother in-laws position. I sent an email to the DNR and this is the reply I got.

Jim, Non-residents can shoot feral hogs in Wisconsin with only a

non-resident small game license. Most sightings consists of <12 pigs,

however, they have been showing up in several counties. The Counties

with the highest concentration is Crawford, Douglas, and Taylor. The

Department does not keep a list of landowners with feral hogs on their

property. Because feral hogs are nomadic creatures, we suggest you

knock on doors to see if landowners have seen pigs recently.

I will let you guys know more if I find anything out.
