Any advice on building a Drop Down fish house?

I'm going to have a 14 x 6'4" OR 6'6" (with 3' V front) drop down trailer built.

Now, I'm not sure what to do with the layout of the house. Do I want to make the front V into a seperate room w/portable toilet? Or put a cook stove there? There are thousands of ways to do this, and I guess I'll get some good ideas at the fish show. But, I thought I'd ask here for some opinions as well.

Thougths on Framing material, paneling, carpet, roof, siding, ect..

Any and all opinions are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

kyler- I just built a 6 1/2 x 16 wheel house last year & i put the v front on it but I used the front for a porta potty & storage, I put a door in the interior wall, I used carpet on the floor, I have a three burner stove with oven, it's wired for 110/ 12volt it has a suburban furnace 30,000 btu, But Also just put a orbis direct vent in, because last year I got tired of the battery's draining down, I'm in the proccess of building fold down bunk, I have a table now that sits down to a bunk, if you would like me to send some pic's I sure would, when I started on this project last year it was fun then it really got to like another job because i wanted to use it for last year's ice fishing season. well anyway good luck & let know how you come out.

There's a place in St. Peter that has about 20 different models to walk through. Was great for looking at all the layout combinations, as we are in the process of having one built this year also... my favorite idea for the v-front was putting a counter in the corner (storage underneath) with an entertainment center cabinet above it.

If you arn't going to haul a 4 wheeler, I'd place the door on the side. It seems to waste fishing room with the door in back.

I didn't finish the inside last year as to figure out where I wanted to put shelves etc. after a year of use. Look at as many houses as you can to determine hole positions. My house came with 6 holes but I rarely can use more than 4 at a time.

This site is a great place for ideas.
