Windy, Please be a humble winner... Get drunk, party and enjoy for next year is the year of the Cubbies! Last year ended the Red Sox drought, this year the White Sux, so next year should be the Cubbies turn.

It was fun if not sometimes irritating going back and forth this year but I think we all know each other a little better now and can keep the banter going again next year. Don't spend your entire savings account on White Sox WS stuff. grin.gif

Congrats Windy and all the Sox fans what a series. Was watching WGN news till 12:30 and the fans were going nuts down on the South side. You guys deserve the championship and I look forward to watching you guys in the WS next year.

Congrats to Windy, Jim and the Sox. What a great series it was. Even though it was a sweep, all the games had me on edge and in the game because they were close. Any timely hitting from the Astros could have extended the series, but the outcome would have been the same as the best team won. Crede should have gotten the MVP for his play at 3rd as well as hitting, the guy really stepped up at the right time.

One person on the Sox I was glad to see finally getting a ring after 14 years with the team was Frank Thomas. He went through the bad years and good years with the club. Congrats to the BIG HURT...

I'll be in the minority on this one, but I'm glad to see AJ get the ring. I knew and worked with him as he was coming up through the Twins organization back in the late '90s. I know a lot of people don't care for him, but he always treated me well and helped me out quite a bit back when I worked for the Twins.

Don't you mean, The Twins? Are you giving up on your Twinkies already for next year? Come on man, you have the whole off season to hope. Why would you try to use an artificial crutch like the Indians to bash the Sox? Did this season do that much damage to the Twinkie psyche?

If so, I guess the only thing you can do is....

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
