Hockey Guy
He played hard Wednesday night that's for sure, but can he do it consistently? I think he has earned his chance to stay on the team in Lemaire's eyes. Don't forget, Puliot played well for a couple pre-season games as well but then dropped off. I just hope when Gaborik comes back it doesn't upset the team’s chemistry like it did after his holdout.
Jarrod32
From the Wild HSOforum "News and Notes" Section:Matt Foy, who scored his first, and second career NHL goals last night, did get a hold of the puck."Right now, it's sitting in my locker and I'll probably send it home," said Foy, who can't really put in on a mantle, since he's been staying at a downtown St. Paul hotel since he was called up prior to Opening Night. With the way he's been playing of late, it will be hard for the coaching staff to send Foy back down to Houston."I have a lot of confidence when I put him out there," said Lemaire. "He brings that high energy every shift.""That's my job, to play with high energy," said Foy. "If I can do that, it will create opportunities for my linemates and bring energy to everybody."
