Otter Lodge Modifications

Yellow Dog

Recommended Posts

I want to set my Otter Lodge and make it more functional. Tired of digging around in the bottom under the seats for stuff.

I know that there MUST be old posts with details about adding LED's and setting up the interior of the tub but I am not finding them on the search. Can anybody lead me to some answers?

Also, just buying my first snowmobile 2 up. Is a rack on the back a needed feature? Also, need to put on a hitch. Any thoughts?

I did just that over this last weekend. I'm not quite done yet but I took photo's. If someone would let me know I can post the photo's here. I can tell you I went through 6 8' 2 X 2's for the frame and plywood to cover it. If anyone knows how to post photos let me know please.

To make the pics appear in your post either put the image tags on both sides of it like this... [image]http://your URL[/image]

OR use the Image UBB Code button just below where you type your message and insert the links..

Be sure to use the link to the image and not the link to the page where the image is stored....right click on the picture and go to properties and copy and paste the URL from there

Yellow Dog,

I do not plan to have seats, I never really lean back while staring down the hole. I probably will just stuff a few hotseats in it somewhere. I had planned on some type of V-block arrangement to hold the auger. I also plan on drilling 4 holes somewhere to anchor it with bolts and cotter pins.
