He had nothing positive to say about the WHITE sox, and every time the pink sox did something positive, you wouldn't hear the end of it. He is a JOKE!!!!!!! I'm not trying to rub it in BY ANY MEANS to anybody who's not a Sox or a Central Division fan, but would ESPN have given any other team, other than east coast team, any repect during any of its broadcasts?

I can't wait for Johnny Miller, Joe Morgan.....or the FOX GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you Jim. I'm not a Sox fan, either one,just anti-Berman and his worthless broadcast partner, Rick Sutcliffe.

Whatever the sport, Berman is on my "Turn off the sound" list. Just can't stand to hear the sound of his voice.

Stephen A. Smith is also on the list.

Glad it was ESPN's Johnny and Joe that called the 11 p.m. start last night as my St. Louis Cardinals joined the Chicago White Sox in completing a sweep of there first round opponent and sit tight to play the LCS series. Card win 7-4, Reggie Sanders ties an NLDS record with 10 rbi in the series.

Well the writings on the wall in the last two series that could be very well decided today. I actually like the Yankees to win today, they are due for offensive explosion and I also think the Astro's will pound the Braves again to day., Astro's pitching is more dominant and it show's. Windy your LCS starts Tuesday and our's starts Wednesday. BTW even though Tim McCarver is an ex-cardinal he's an (Contact US Regarding This Word) as an announcer. Joe Buck's good but he could use a better color guy...

is it just me or is Berman the worst announcer of all time? his highlight show on the nfl is super annoying with him doing stupid one liners and singing on replays and if I hear him say a long sentence and starts running out of breath but keeps on talking one more time im going to scream!!!

I don't mind Berman since he isn't on all the time. Joe Morgan on the other hand makes me want to puke. Someone needs to tell him that he is old and retired. Every time he says he would have done it differently and the guys on the field don't do anything right, I come unglued. Tim Mc Carver is another one I could do without. He sounds like everything that comes out of his mouth is the quote for the ages. Never a complete thought, just a bunch of one liners that don't always make sense. The criticism about ESPN being an east coast blowhard is right on target. They know everything and more about all the east coast teams, but get them in the central division and they have a tough time putting anything meaningful into the game. I would like to see a three man booth. A play by play announcer and the color guys from both the teams involved in the game. Bert could come up with insights on the Twins during their broadcast that the rest of the country could use. He could let them know that Justin Morneau has been playing through specific injuries most of the year resulting in lower than expected numbers, instead of the national guys just telling everyone around the country that he is struggling.

Just my two cents, I expect change back on this one!
