Carb info

The magnetic switch on your carb is a safety switch that prevents the engine from starting or running in the event the slides are stuck open, no fun watching your sled run away and crash into something with a stuck open throttle after you pull the start rope. If I recall there is a switch on the throttle lever that works with the carb mounted ones, adjust the switch on the carb so that it opens(shuts off) with the throttle lever depressed fully, the switch on the throttle should close just before the switch on the carb opens, this allows the engine to run normally, but will interupt the ingnition if the slide sticks open. Basically you have two switches in parrellel at least one of witch must be closed for the ignition to be on, the switch on the carb is normally closed and the switch on the throttle lever is normally open. If the slide is all the way open and the lever is not fully depressed the engine won't run.
