MIKE IN lINO III
I was at Gander last night and they don't have the wind activated ones. Cabelas in Rogers opens on the 14th. I wanted to use them this weekend. I tried the web but didn't find a whole lot of info. I'll call Joes, Thanks guys, I just called Joes and had them set aside two of them for me. Thx. Gus
We tried them in our spread this weekend and the ducks didn't seem to like them. Saturday was a little too calm for the wings to spin nice. After a few flares we pulled it in and had better shooting after that. On Sunday there was enough wind but we still had flares from birds. We pulled it again and once again had better shooting after that. Coincidence? Maybe, but maybe there is something they didn't like about ole air lucky. I'm not going to try it again. We have done great in past years using roboduck so I do think motion decoys work. Just somethign about air lucky they didn't like. Good luck out there. Guest
motion decoys work great.. as long as the wings keep spinning... if the wings stop.. they will detour the birds.
