I have used Interstate batteries for my 24 volt motor and their cranking battery for the starter. All 3 have worked great, low maintenance, and reliable. They back up their claims!

I am a savvy shopper for fishing equipment but on this issue i would recommend not necessarily going for the "best deal" out there either. Saving $5-10 might end up causing a headache down the road when the juice is running low! Just a thought on where not to skimp!

I would suggest Trojan batteries. You can get them at Batteries plus. They cost a little more, but when I compared the ratings and stuff last year between brands, that's what I went with, and I'm pretty stingy with my doe.

I have the same opinion as most of the posts above, Interstate is the way to go. I have three of them and never have had a problem with them. There Customer Service is exceptional too with any of the questions that I had. Good Fishing.
