Got checked this weekend

first time ever. We had total compliance, he checked stamps, plugs and all shells for steel. Heck of a nice guy for having a tough job approaching armed strangers. Our number of ducks wasn't an issue either. He came down the river in a canoe no less, never thought I'd see one down where I go. Anyone have any other stories?

Our party was checked by both a local CO and a Federal FWS Officer. The fed was pretty stuck up and talked like a robot, whereas the local guy was joking around and very friendly.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN 3 YRS I HAVEN'T GOT CHECKED. 2 YRS AGO THERE WAS 3 DNR OFFICERS CHECKING PEOPLE ON THE LAKE I HUNT. DIDN'T SEEM TO BE AS MANY HUNTERS AS PREVIOUS YEARS. WAS IT THE WEATHER OR BAD REPORTS OF DUCKS FROM LAST YEAR?

We were checked for the second year in a row. Everything checked out great for 19 guys. He was a really nice guy, he told us the only groups around that shot many mallards were groups using spinning wing decoys and that got assested a $200 dollar fine.
