o/u looking to buy

any idea on a good one for a kinder price range . this would be my first and i have never shot one. i saw one on sale it's a stoeger for 299 is that a good gun and good price? any help would be good.

I have a 12G SxS Baikal and a 20G O/U Baikal. They are all I use for upland. I have had no problems of any kind, and I hunt in some very harsh conditions. They in the same range as Stoegers.

Someday I would like to have one of those pretty, expensive guns. But as long as I am hitting what I shoot at and am not having problems. I will continue to save the cash and shoot the cheapies.

PM - either the Bikal (it is now owned by Remington and is marketed as a SPARTAN) or the Stoeger are good, inexpensive O/U's.

I have shot both and I have friends that shoot both. They are in love with them. If I hadn't been able to get such a great deal on a Ruger Red Label years ago I woud have purchased one or the other.

I don't think you'll be sorry with either.
