outdoorsman1972
Just looking for feedback on these type of stands. What do you think of them and how they have worked for other people. I am looking at putting one in an area where most of the trees are dead and can't put any other type of stand. Are there any with over a 300LB rating. Any info would be appreciated. luckey
We have a couple. Only issue is the seats are mounted in the center which makes standing almost impossible. Ok, maybe you shouldn't stand up but sometimes a guy just has to streach a little.
Ret-ro
I built my own. Down in shotgun zone they work pretty well after the deer have had a chance to adjust to them. The deer will usually keep there distance, so most of your shots will be long ones at first. Try to place them near any cover or background you can and conceal yourself as best you can. I have had mine out for going on four years and it they just get more used to it and keep coming in closer. I would never try to bowhunt out of one though.
