Hello. I had a little trouble with my bilge pump not turning off. I disconnected the wire by the pump itself, and it turned off. Unfortunately, the toggle switch on the dash stayed on-- or lit up--whether it was in the up or down position. Figured that I had a bad switch. So, it got on my back, got all wet, and looked under the dash. I pulled fuses until the light went off. I was proud of myself. I am not real handy. Then I realized that I had 3 and 5 amp fuses in my hand and could not remember where they went. I remembered that my depth finder took a 3 amp fuse. Does the following logic sound right? If I put in 3amp fuses when in doubt (vs. the 5amp) I should be ok. If I blow a fuse that would mean that trying a 5amp fuse next time would be the best? I looked through all my owners manuals and found no fuse info. My boat is a 02 crestliner fish hawk. I could not find any info on the web either. I may give the dealer a buzz. Thanks for the help.
