How's the scouting report??

Has anyone scouted out some of their usual opening weekend hunting spots? I checked out a couple areas in the Osakis area and didn't see much for ducks. There's usually a lot of woodies there, but each of the last 5 yrs has seemed to decline a bit more and more.

I've been scouting the ponds along 494 and 169 everyday on the way to work, and they are stacked with greenies. I think I'm sneaking on one of them opening day....who's with me?

I have been scanning the ponds in the Detroit Lakes area the last few weeks and surprisingly I have seen quite a few birds. It might be a good opener afterall..
