Tyler Holm
Stop into or call the Grenville bait shop. If a girl answers, you’re in luck. She is the owner’s wife. She knows every inch of Waubay and has pictures all over the wall in there to prove her success. Tell her your story and ask what's happening on the lake and surrounding bodies of water. She will provide you with the areas latest and best report. She has put me right on the fish more times that I can count. I never hit that lake without making a call to her first. In return, I always purchase a good some of bait and others from them. Sorry I can't provide a more definite report, but I haven't been to Waubay for a while and haven't heard many reports. Give serious thought to fishing Bitter Lake. I don't have a current report, but my grandpa has been catching limits a few times a week most of the summer. Tyler Holm
Johnny Ice,Your in luck. Roy Lake Resort has some of the best burgers in the entire NE part of the state. Great food at that place. At that time of year, there is a bullhead fish fry in Eden. Its a buffet of all you can eat fried bullhead, shimp, chicken, french fries, and cod. Its friday night at the bar in Eden (15 miles North / NW of Roy). Ask about fishing again as the time gets closer and maybe I (or somebody) can come up with a report for you.
