akomadogman
Dog owners, I just finished my prototype of a 12 volt dog water dish.(winter use) I invented it to replace the 110 volt style you may currently use. The reason is if a dog chews the 110 volt cord, he easily can be electocuted. If they chew this cord, no problem, only 12 volts. Do you see a market for this or is the current style safe enough to continue to buy. Thanks... The Dog
Bigfife
I don't know much about the heated dog dishes, but I came up with one question? How long will the battery last in the cold weather? I am just thinking that you would have to constantly charge the battery.
akomadogman
Sorry, it runs off a 12 volt plug in transformer, no battery. Plugs in like the 110 volt but steps down the voltage to a level that can't cause electrocution. Thanks The Dog
lawdog
I would be interested. The main thing, though, it has to be big, sturdy and able to handle MINNESOTA cold winters. The Canine Canteen is the best heated bucket I've ever found. The rest are just toys. If you can keep water liquid like that thing, and be as big and durable you can sell a ton of em because like I said, most are junk.
