So how about the Renzoa and Montanas?

I think the Montana is a very good deer decoy. If you set it up and walk around it, it looks very real from a lot more angle than you would think. (I have the one that looks like a doe peering over her shoulder) They are about the best decoy to carry into and out of the woods. Just fold er up and stuff into you pack. My uncle shot a nice ten pointer last year over the decoy. The deer was hot on the trail of a doe and his eye caught the doe decoy which stopped him in his tracks. After that it was all over. But... so far I have not had any deer come in close range with it out. On the other hand I haven't scared any deer off either. I'll be trying it out for the first time with bow this year. Last year only gun season.

One thing I've found from using Renzo's and Outlaw silouette decoys especially when using the doe during early season, is that more often than not it worked very well. But the problem is all deer came in on high alert(although they were focused on the decoy) and once they approach close enough they eventually spooked and often snorted and stomped. Yes I use scent eliminator...

So I'll probably only use the buck dekes as long as I'm targeting the big boys until rut and then I'll use one of each.
