I was thinking

Julius Jones & Larry Johnson

Now Johnson got in trouble will that have any effect on his number of carries?

Right now its a toss up between Parker and Johnson

picke parker up monday after they said bettis and Staley are out for until week 4

well that is a tough question. I like the combo that you have but I dont know if I would be able to keep parker on the bench when they are playing the Texans. Always have Jones in your lineup since Dallas is going to run a ton this year. Johnson will play most likely but watch oakland shut down Dillon so you have the option. Overall I think I would take Jones and Parker.

I third the Parker Jones combo for this week. I drafted Parker in two leagues and started him in both of those leagues over Edgerrin James and Steven Jackson. Pittsburgh was the best rushing team overall last year and I don't see that changing much this year. That being said I have been trying to trade him this week while his value is high as I think once Bettis and Staley are healthy they will cut into his time. Pittsburgh also plays some tough defenses as the year goes on. That being said I am starting him again this week against a very weak Houston run defense and then hopefully will be able to unload him for some good value.

Start Jones and Parker. Larry Johnson is a very good talent and the Chiefs' back of the future. Unfortunately he did not get enough carries last week (9 compared to Holmes' 22) to warrant a must start ranking each week. That could change as the year goes on.
