SCSU Waterfowlers?

Hey. My name is Chad. I live in Rogers, MN and commute to SCSU three days a week to attend class. I transfered to SCSU this fall after going to North Hennepin Community College for two years and graduated with an Associate in Arts degree. Just thought it would be fun to find some other waterfowlers that attend SCSU and get to know them a little. Maybe compare scouting notes as the season progresses, meet up and talk on campus a while, possibly even go on a hunt. It would just be nice to get to know a few people on campus. It is hard for me to get to know people because I don't live there. Who knows, maybe I have a class with someone on this site. Good luck hunting.

I'm a Husky alum and used to hit the sloughs in the morning when I could. I didn't shoot alot of ducks, but it was nice getting out. There's a big public south of Clearwater that has some water, that would be on your way. Good luck.

My name is Adam and I am a 21 year old business management major at State...my younger bro(Brian, aka Flowage Tamer) is 19 and he also attends SCSU. We grew up in Sartell (just north of St. Cloud) and do most of our hunting in the area. We also have a cabin that we hunt out of near Belgrade about 4 weekends / season. Our early goose season began as a disappointment in comparison to last year, but picked up this past weekend as we each shot 2 honkers with one of his being banded. We have been doing well on the mourning doves as well and plan on getting out after them again on Saturday.

Mike (from this site) is in the process of organizing a Ducks Unlimited chapter at SCSU and is looking for recruits...would be a good chance for us campus duck hunters to get together.
