Tyler Holm
I fished Richmond Lake near Aberdeen this past Friday and Saturday. Over the course of the 2 days we boated several over 8” and about 10 over 9” with our biggest at 9.75” If I opened that big ones mouth it went 10” That lake is really holding some huge bull gills and they are willing to bit if you give them the chance. Everything we caught was released. Our trick was corn on the bottom as I was fishing for carp.
Aberdak
There is a nice bite on! Both Crappies and bluegills. The weather is a big plus with warm stable weather until Monday 10/03/2005 A person kind of needs to micro fish. I can walk along the shore line and not find anything except the mini bass and then you cast under a limb from a tree and presto their a nice 8 to 10 in. gill. The leaves are turning and no waterskier or jet skis Yea, Hoorah
aquafang
Good to hear you are releasing the gills! that lake has been becoming more and more overfished each year since mina lake has become so terrible for fishing in recent years. It's really the only body of decent fishing water near aberdeen. Nothng wrong with keeping a few now and then, but it's nice to hear what you are doing.
