QuikSpin vanes with Whisker Biscuit

Has anyone been using QuikSpin vanes with a Whisker Biscuit? I'm wondering if that little plastic kicker might cause problems with contacting the whiskers.

This will be my first re-fletching job. Any other bits of advice will be welcomed.

PS - I refuse to give up my Whisker Biscuit!

Thanks.

I have been doing just what you stated for 1 year and have had zero problems so far. I also know 3 other people that have been doing just this for 2 years without problems also. I totally agree about not giving up the biscut!!!

Duravane has some new 'savage' vanes designed just for Whisker Biscuits. The are a bit firmer. I'm not sure if you really gain/lose with using Quickspins with the WB. It would seem the kicker on the tail would wear more...and negate any speed/accuracy you'd gain with the quickspins....Try the new savage vanes, or plain vanes....less expensive.
