Danny61231
Hi, my name is Dan and I am new to this Forum. I am interested in getting into some tournaments but I could really use some information on...how do I find out where tournaments are being held, what requirments are their on boats used in tournaments, how much does it cost to get into a tournament, and any other information you might be able to supply me with. I really look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me with this. Thanks for your help and im sure I will be posting again soon. Dan
mamohr686
It really depends on what level of tournaments you plan on fishing and you also never mentioned the species of fish that you would like to compete in. A great HSOforum for MN bass fishing is classic bass. Do a google seach on classic bass and you will find a listing of a ton of tournaments in MN along with directors to contact. Usually with an entry forum you will get the rules for the tournament. You can also do a websearch for FLW and Bassmaster and you will find the 2 biggest tournament trials in america, they have entry level events and co-angler events that require a lot of travel but have huge payouts. I have fished the co-angler side of the PWT and had a blast if your looking to get into walleye fishing. Some of the other guys can help you with local events for walleye better than I can. Captain B.R.K
Welcome to the site! Another great place to get information on the site is to scroll down through the FORUMS and click on TOURNAMENT/LEAUGE/GROUP TALK. Lots of good information to be had in there too!
