saintmark
We fish out of Nestor by Young's Wilderness in late June.1.) Pike ... throw tandum spinnerbaits about 3/8 oz. Try a 1oz terminator. White and Chartreuse. Go across the weed beds. Seems water form 4 to 6 feet is good.2.) Muskies... Work the rock reefs. suicks. A really banged up black 9" or perch. Careful with the boat around the reefs. Get a GOOD map. Stoney Portage is a nice muskie hang out. BUT WATCH THE REEFS. THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT STONEY! GO SLOW. Caught 12 or 15 muskie in there this year.3.) Smallies...pop-r by rebel lures. work the gravel and small rock banks. A "french fry" rubber worm. Use light mono. Muskie will chase the pop-r's so watch out. Good luck
